Taxes in California are among the highest in the nation. As a result of failed projects and mass exodus of large corporations, the working class of California is burdened with paying the bill. Taxes are directly tied to current and previous administration spending efforts. We need to stop wasting taxpayer 's dollars for projects with no benefit.
As governor, I will work to put an end to wasteful spending, bring the budget back to a sustainable reality, and no longer allocate funds for pet projects to satisfy special interest groups. I will work to reduce taxes for all Californians. We will not accept the status quo. When we control spending, we can reduce taxes.
